On November 30th, a workshop was held in Brussels, organized by the EIT (European Institute of Innovation & Technology), on various aspects related to supporting industrial symbiosis in Europe: European Cooperation Industrial Symbiosis.
The workshop aims to bring together stakeholders for a dynamic discussion and to present the results of a study on cooperation that promotes industrial symbiosis.
Several cases were presented at the national and regional levels. At the Spanish level, Lorena Jurado presented the sub-product exchange www.residurecurs.cat/ and Ander Elgorriaga, Ihobe; a public company that supports the Basque Government in the development of environmental policy.
