On May 26th, El Correo del Sol dedicated a comprehensive article to its readers about the concept, objectives, and challenges of industrial symbiosis. To illustrate and explain what is still a new term for many, the article presents some of the results from the first year of development of a pioneering project in Catalonia: Manresa in Symbiosis. This initiative was born with institutional support and the impetus of Símbiosy, and is currently managed by the business owners of the industrial park through the recently created Bufalvent Synergies Office.
