Little by little, the SÍNER program for managing industrial symbiosis projects is taking shape, and being worthy of European aid, as well as being among the 6 finalists for the BBVA Award for Innovation in Environmental Sustainability, is a boost!
In case you didn’t know, SÍNER is an online computer tool that identifies synergies between companies; it allows the management of data on the resources of industries in a territory and, with them, estimates the circularity opportunities of a territory; it is, in short, a tool to manage industrial symbiosis projects.
We want to congratulate AEInnova and Faixamata from here for having won the first and second prize respectively with two fantastic projects for the use of heat and the valorization of slurry.
And we thank the Fundació Antigues Caixes Catalanes (FACC) and BBVA for the initiative of this first edition of this award, which we hope will have a long journey and great impact.
