Last Tuesday, January 17, the companies and industries participating in the project attended the second working session with business owners at the Can Calderon headquarters in Viladecans. In this session, the main axes of the circular economy project were presented, which have been identified as possible in the Gavà and Viladecans environment. Individual work was also carried out with the participating companies, who brought product samples, waste, and materials, making the demands of “what I need / what I need” much more explicit. A complete success!
During the session, the INEX synergy platform was presented, a tool for industrial symbiosis projects for managing industry data that offers a vision of the industrial system of the work environment of these municipalities, identifying the potential for synergies in their territory.
Likewise, two actions were presented to promote the circular economy by Mr. Raül Blanco, from the Direcció General D’indústria of the Generalitat de Catalunya: the guide “INICIATIVES LOCALS CAP A LA TRANSICIÓ ENERGÈTICA ALS POLÍGONS INDUSTRIALS” and the Ecodesign award 2017 convened by the Generalitat.
