Another year participating in the organization of the congress, this year within the environment of the Smart City & Expo World Congress. A challenge, a privilege.

The Rural Smart Grids Congress concludes that a national agreement is necessary to make an energy transition that includes the rural world

  • Territorial balance must be one of the fundamental elements of a new energy model distributed from renewable sources and with greater consumer participation

  • The need for a regulatory framework and public policies that help create a favorable environment for new local and small-scale energy and telecommunications operators has been highlighted

  • Public-private collaboration is key to promoting the energy transition towards a more sustainable and efficient system

  • The promotion of smart grids in the rural world requires new business models and the exploitation of synergies with the smart city
