This morning, a new session of the Chamber of Commerce Breakfasts was held at the Chamber. On this occasion, organized by the Women and Business Commission of the Chamber, the session focused on INDUSTRIAL SYMBIOSIS: COOPERATE AND WIN.
The objective of industrial symbiosis is to generate processes in which certain resources not used in one company are transformed into raw materials for another. With this cooperation, industries obtain mutual benefits. This has been the starting point for the session’s speakers: Veronica Kuchinow, specialist and trainer in industrial symbiosis; José Bonet, director of the Higher Technical School of Chemical Engineering of Tarragona; Raimon Piqué, head of marketing and communication at Solvay; and Carlos Segura, Director of facilities and environment at the Port of Tarragona.
