Results obtained

Improvements in energy efficiency

  • Reuse of residual heat from refrigeration equipment for air conditioning and domestic hot water.
  • Improvement of insulation in work areas.
  • Optimization of maintenance and renovation of compressors.
  • Replacement of refrigeration equipment with piston compressors.

Opportunities in shared self-consumption

  • Between a shopping center and the adjoining neighborhood community.
  • Between companies located around a shared parking lot.

To highlight

  • Start of a methodology to quantify the decarbonization potential of the industrial fabric based on energy efficiency measures.
  • The City Council has a defined roadmap to implement the identified shared self-consumption projects.
  • Scalability of the model: a larger volume of audits would allow a more precise calculation of the energy and climate impact on a territorial scale.
