Objective

Manresa Il·lumina is a service cooperative formed by companies in the Bufalvent Industrial Park, in Manresa, created to share energy through a common photovoltaic installation. It is configured as a business energy community that allows member companies to improve their energy, ecological, and economic management.

The project focuses on the feasibility plan for the first energy community in an industrial park in Manresa, including the technical design of the shared photovoltaic solution, the definition of the business model, and support in the governance and organization of the cooperative.

SÍMBIOSY provides technical assistance in the design, the business model, and the facilitation necessary to launch the community, ensuring that the project is robust from a technical, economic, and organizational point of view. Manresa Il·lumina is part of the “Manresa in Symbiosis” project, where the creation of energy communities is one of the key levers for the local energy transition.

The project is still evolving and is proposed as a platform to incorporate new shared services in the future, such as shared mobility or a heating network, expanding the economic and environmental impact for the companies in the industrial park.
