Objective
INSET (Industrial Symbiosis capacity building for Enterprises through Training) is a European project funded by ERASMUS+ that aims to strengthen the capacities of companies and key actors in industrial symbiosis, through an innovative, digital, and highly pragmatic training approach.
The project responds to the need to improve knowledge, skills, and awareness about industrial symbiosis as a key tool to face current environmental, economic, and regulatory challenges.
INSET is aimed not only at companies but also at vocational education and training providers, public authorities, and organizations that play a key role in promoting circular and collaborative industrial models.
Lines of work
The project is structured around four main pillars:
- Definition of a map of key skills for industrial symbiosis.
- Development of a digital training kit aimed at companies, innovation agents, and trainers.
- Creation of an open-access Industrial Symbiosis Observatory, focused on regulatory frameworks, best practices, and training resources.
- Elaboration of a public policy report to involve administrations and reduce regulatory barriers to industrial symbiosis.
Results obtained
