This project consisted of a consultancy study to analyze the feasibility of implementing a dry-wet municipal solid waste (MSW) management model in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB).
The main objective was to evaluate the technical, economic, and environmental feasibility of this model in the specific context of the AMB, considering existing infrastructures, waste composition, and the region’s sustainability objectives. The study included a detailed analysis of the processes involved, the associated costs, and the potential benefits in terms of material recovery and reduction of environmental impact.
