Objective
The project aims to improve the economic, social, and environmental performance of the productive fabric of Carate Brianza by identifying and valorizing waste with the potential to become resources.
Based on an initial diagnosis, the flows of urban, agricultural, commercial, and industrial waste in the territory are analyzed, with a special focus on plastic, wood, metal, and mixed waste. The project seeks to generate new local business opportunities, especially oriented to small and medium-sized enterprises, promoting circular economy and industrial symbiosis models.
The analysis is supported by a detailed territorial study and the identification of technologies and transformation processes necessary to convert waste into usable by-products within the territory itself.
