Last May, the guide “Circular and Green Economy in the Local World: How to Take Action and Tools for Local Entities” was presented, promoted by the Network of Cities and Towns towards Sustainability and with the support of the Fundació Fòrum Ambiental, the Barcelona Provincial Council, and the collaboration of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
The objective of this guide, which has had the collaboration of the Símbiosy team, is to disseminate the concept of circular economy and provide practical guidance to the local world to promote and boost the circular economy at different levels.
The document is structured in three main blocks: the first presents the concept of circular economy, the main strategies to implement it, and the role of the local world in its promotion.
The second block has an eminently practical character and presents the steps to follow so that a local entity can define a strategy to promote the circular and green economy in its territory.
Finally, the third block is a workbook that includes work materials to put into practice a strategy to promote the circular economy from the local level.
