‘Valles Circular’ is a collaborative initiative promoted by the Network of entities for the promotion of the circular economy in Vallès Occidental, with the Regional Council of Vallès Occidental as the driving entity.
Its main objective is to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the change of model to stimulate innovation actions that bring economic benefits to companies; such as opening opportunities for the generation of new businesses, creating employment, improving the competitiveness of the region while obtaining significant benefits for the environment.
With the agreement signed last Monday, June 19, between local administrations and relevant agents of Vallès Occidental, with the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Diputación de Barcelona, they wanted to take a step further and assume the challenge of the transition towards a circular economy in the coming years.
