Many industrial wastes are generated in small quantities and have little value, which means they are not selectively collected and end up in the “banales” (general waste) container, destined for landfill.
The “Granollers enters into symbiosis” project has launched a pilot initiative to recover these recoverable wastes by promoting collaboration between companies in the Jordi Camp industrial park. These companies commit to participating in a joint selective collection service for recoverable materials, creating a “deixalleria” or clean point within the industrial park itself.
On September 26, 2019, Granollers will present the results of this and other initiatives linked to the industrial symbiosis project.
