Last July, the Consorci de la Zona Franca, within the framework of the Circular Economy project it leads, organized a conference on the possibilities that the new energy self-consumption legislation offers to companies in the Zona Franca industrial estate.
Key entities in the field of energy efficiency such as the Barcelona Energy Agency, the Catalonia Efficient Energy Cluster, Entoria Energy and Km0 Energy were part of a panel of experts that discussed the alternatives for implementing renewables for the buildings in the industrial estate, the legal novelties that the new Royal Decree on self-consumption puts on the table, and the possibilities of shared self-consumption solutions.
