On April 17, within the framework of the industrial symbiosis project Eix Besòs Circular, the business conference Opportunities for waste circularity and water saving will be held.
These types of activities, which are recurrent in industrial symbiosis projects, are an excellent example of how to promote synergies by informing companies of the business opportunities that are identified with their surplus resources and putting them in contact with potential partners, suppliers, and collaborators. A first step to knowing and analyzing the viability and interest of the proposals!
To achieve greater involvement of companies in the conferences, we invite solution providers for each of the synergies detected, in order to make the existing options visible and awaken the interest of the participants. During the session, the solutions are presented and real cases are shown, followed by a networking space among the attendees, where it is allowed to start defining connections between companies.
As a result, in these spaces of collaboration, new business opportunities and ideas arise among the participants, which are a starting point for their development and implementation in the future. This opens up a whole range of opportunities to improve efficiency in the existing resources in the territory, which could be used to generate a positive systemic impact, favoring the business fabric, the environment and society as a whole.
