CMES Collective Assembly in Manlleu

January 21, 2015

Last Saturday, January 31, 2015, the Collective for a new Social and Sustainable Energy Model CMES, of which Símbiosy is a member, met in a day of reflection to redefine structures and strategies, with new collaborative ways of working that allow us to face the new challenges of the energy transition.

The day of reflection took place in the Ter Museum, in Manlleu. A case of industrial symbiosis from the last century, for more than 100 years the energy of the Ter River was used to create a powerful textile industry. The hydraulic energy generating turbines of the Ter River served to drive all the machinery for the manufacture and twisting of cotton thread from the tropics. Without a doubt, an ideal environment to talk about the use of renewable energy that CMES proposes.
