On July 11, the Símbiosy team and the Berguedà Development Agency jointly coordinated the first working session with the region’s business owners to establish initial contact with industrial symbiosis as part of Berguedà’s new circular economy strategy.
The objective of the day was to create a creative space to share the needs and availabilities of the participating companies and identify new business opportunities through possible synergies between them. During the session, thanks to an open exchange of information and ideas, the needs shared by the group were identified, and the first connections between companies emerged.
At the end of the meeting, the new grants and innovation programs offered by ACCIÓ were presented, which will undoubtedly be very useful in promoting future industrial symbiosis projects created in the region.
