The business association Coparmex Chihuahua and the State Government presented on June 6 “Chihuahua Green,” the public-private initiative that leads Chihuahua companies towards the circular economy and industrial symbiosis, implemented by SÍMBIOSY.

This is a complete industrial symbiosis program, which seeks to impact more than 100,000 companies throughout the state, through its facilitating offices: Poniente 2050, Juárez Circular Hub, and Chihuahua Green City.
CHIHUAHUA GREEN houses tools and services such as “Chihuahua Eco-Market”, a platform for buying and selling waste between companies for reuse; the Training and Education Module, the Carbon Emissions Calculator, and the OASIS company certificate, a distinctive feature that is granted to companies that promote business competitiveness through sustainable practices.
It also has the SYNER platform (www.synerplatform.com), which automatically detects synergies and potential businesses between companies based on their surplus resources; as well as SYMTRACK (by Workdeck), software for tracking and managing industrial symbiosis projects.
