Last May 6th, the collaboration agreement was signed between Símbiosy and the Business Association of the Bufalvent industrial park in Manresa. Our two founders of Símbiosy, Anna Lluís and Verónica Kuchinow, along with Bernat Ladrón de Guevara, president of the Bufalvent Association, were present at this signing.
Símbiosy supports the transition of Bulfalvent towards the circular economy, promoting industrial symbiosis projects among companies in the area.. Recently, a synergy office has been created in Bufalvent with the aim of promoting and implementing the identified proposals. This office has given rise to the Manresa Il·lumina energy community, which was recently awarded the Best Energy Community Award at the Energy Community Awards. You can consult more cases of successful Símbiosy projects here. The agreement aims to continue promoting this transformation and give continuity to industrial symbiosis projects and proposals, especially in the energy field, promoting environmental strategies that provide not only economic improvements for the beneficiaries but also contribute to the environment with a more efficient use of resources. Símbiosy will continue to provide advisory, representation and investment attraction services to Bufalvent. Together, we are also working to ensure that this collaboration serves to promote these services not only in this association but also in other business associations in industrial parks to extend the circular economy model. The signed agreement has an initial duration of four years, which may be extended, and establishes the basis for services in different areas, such as the dissemination of the project, training activities and institutional management. The signing of this agreement reaffirms the commitment of Bufalvent and Símbiosy to sustainability and energy transition through business collaboration.
